your postpartum time is sacred.
you deserve to be held,
nourished, and supported
as you heal and reconnect with yourself and your baby.

After giving birth, you deserve to be held in care.

You deserve massages with warm oils,

herbal baths,

nourishing meals,

and a presence that listens deeply,

not just your words,

but the story beneath them,

the one held in your body.

You deserve to be fully seen and welcome from the deepest journey a woman can go through!

- Catarina Lapão -

Postpartum recovery is not a luxury—it is a birthright.

I provide holistic, mother-centered care designed to honor your body, emotions, and bond with your baby.

My postpartum care includes:

  • Gentle, hands-on care: Slow massages, craniosacral therapy, lymphatic drainage, abdominal and womb massage—each technique is designed to support your healing and restore balance.

  • Physical support: Alleviating birth-related pain, promoting recovery, supporting digestion, and helping prevent issues such as pelvic organ prolapse, hormonal imbalances, c-section support.

  • Emotional and mental support: Offering from the lens of Prenatal and Perinatal Somatic Psychology a nurturing, safe space for you to process your pregnancy and birth experience and connect with your body, your baby, and your intuition.

  • Breastfeeding support: Helping you and your baby find a smooth path with nursing and bonding.

  • Bonding support: Attuning to your baby’s physiological needs to strengthen the bond between you.

Why this matters:

The first 6-8 weeks after birth are crucial.

When a mother receive proper care, she will emerge from the postpartum period stronger, whole and transformed.

In many traditions, this time is honored as:

    •    The Cuarentena in Mexico

    •    The Golden Month in Traditional Chinese Medicine

    •    The Sacred Window in Ayurveda

Without proper care, mothers risk long-term exhaustion, physical strain, and emotional overwhelm (postpartum depression).

With holistic support, you can:

    •    Prevent pelvic organ prolapse and physical discomfort

    •    Reduce perinatal mood disorders

    •    Bond deeply with your baby

    •    Feel rested, strong, and whole

—Postpartum care is an investment in a woman life long health.
